Questions Student-Athletes Often Ask

Clear answers to help you understand how the platform works and what to expect.

Do I need to be committed to a school to create a profile?

No. Creating a profile does not commit you to any school. The platform is designed to help you explore options and connect with programs that fit your goals.

Is this platform only for elite-level athletes?

No. Canadian Athlete Network supports athletes across a wide range of levels. Coaches are looking for different attributes depending on their program.

Can coaches contact me directly?

Yes. When there is a fit, coaches can reach out directly through the platform, making communication clear and efficient.

Am I limited to schools in one province?

Not at all. You can explore and connect with universities and colleges across Canada, giving you flexibility in where you study and compete.

Does selecting academic interests limit my visibility?

No. Academic interests help guide discovery but do not restrict coaches from viewing your profile if there is a strong athletic fit.
